In this lecture we see comparisons of ancient and modern cultures as well as western and eastern society having very parallel visions in their approach to gender. Many of the ancient cultures since prehistoric time as described by Dr. L shaped their culture in a matriarchal system where the female gender is considered to be the central power of social activities. We have examples of cultures worshiping their God in female forms.
